Due to the COVID-19 pandemics, the 2020 edition of ESEM will not take place in Bari. However, we will have a proceedings-based conference and we will have ACM proceedings for all tracks. We will also recognize best paper awards. Hence, we will have to wait until 2021 to meet in beautiful Bari.
ESEM UPDATE – August 4, 2020
ESEM authors will be asked through a Google form if they wish to upload a short presentation/pitch (only if they want). If yes, it will be posted on Youtube and links will be provided from the ESEM webpage with the list of accepted papers.
The same form will be used to ask if the authors want to attend a virtual session where to discuss about their paper. The virtual Zoom conference will be on October 5-9 (Mon-Fry) in a couple of timezones.
ESEM 2020 – Registration
We are happy to announce that ESEM will innovate by not having any registration fees for authors and attendants in the 2020 edition!
Publications will be completely out of charge, as a way to recognize the efforts of authors of keeping science in empirical software engineering moving during this pandemic period
